4th Ed. Shadowrun at Muse Comics 14 Nov 09 in Missoula
JRoch on Monday 26 October 2009 - 01:21:43 | Read/Post Comment: 3
Greetings all!

In my new capacity as an Agent for Catalyst Game Labs, the publishers of 4th Edition Shadowrun, I will be starting to run one-shot SR/4 events both at Muse Comics, MisCon Games days, and various northwest conventions. If you are not familiar with Shadowrun, check it out its a sweet game!

http://www.shadowrun4.com

http://www.catalystgamelabs.com

The first one of these is schedule for Saturday, 14 November 2009 at Muse Comics here in Missoula, MT. It will run from 1200-1600, and I will be there right at 1100 to set up, answer questions, and generally get people prepped to play! Experience is unnecessary, but if you are unfamiliar with 4th Edition Shadowrun I suggest you come early to talk shop:)

"Poker Night"

Shadowrun 4th Edition

5 players

Pre Generated Characters

Saturday, 14 November 2009 @ Muse Comics in Missoula, MT

1200-1600

------

"Working for the Russian mob is alot like playing with a cyber-enhanced Rottweiler. It tends to be short and intense, but if you're not careful, you'll likely lose a limb by the time you are done.

Still, the run sounded pretty simple, even low-key for the Russians. Sneak into a junkyard/chopshop, retreive some goods the owner doesn't even know are there, and make sure no one's the wiser about the deal. Good pay for a straightforward run.

Why is it that no matter how many times you've been bit, that Rottweiler always seems so fun to play with? It wouldn't hurt you this time, would it?"

------

Flyer is up at Muse right now, sign up sheets for 5 players and 2 alternates will go up the week before the game.

PM me if you happen to have any questions.

Games of Conquest
JRoch on Saturday 05 September 2009 - 10:19:55 | Read/Post Comment: 0
The Helena Game Club will be joining with the Lewis and CLark Library to bring a night of conquest to Helena on September 18th. From 7-10 PM, the HGC will be teaching and playing Games of Conquest such as Risk, Small World, Cosmic Encounters, Age of Gods, Game of Thrones, and anything else that we can get done in something enar to three hours.

Bring your games and yourselves, enjoy snacks provided by the Library, and make it a family night (kids 10+ welcome!) to see who really is the greatest conqueror.

You can register at the Lewis and CLark Library or by calling 447-1690 x5.

We will probably lock the outside doors after about a half hour (as the library itself is closed) so that people can concentrate on taking over teh universe instead of watching the doors. After that, you'll have to beg to get in!

Questions can be sent to Stone here are teh boards or to greg©blackshieldgaming.com.

Belegarth-Realm of Stygia upcoming events.
JRoch on Tuesday 09 June 2009 - 10:31:03 | Read/Post Comment: 0
The realm of Stygia will be holding a One Day battle at Greenough Park, at the large gazebo area where the BBQ area is. This is a pot luck event, so if you come out, pls bring something, food, drink, etc. It's not required but it helps us out a bit. The mini-event is free and will begin at 12:00 pm on June 21st and go till the fighting and food is done.

July 13-19 in Hailey, ID is Chaos Wars, a week long event with over 300 participants. It's the best medieval fighting event in the NW that I know of.

Sept 4,5, and 6 Realm of Stygia will be holding our annual event "War of the Gate" at Larry Creek Campground, in the Bass Creek Recreation Area. We have the gampground through the 7th (Labor Day) so folks can pack up and leave on Monday if they wish. Cost TBA, should be no more than 10-15$.

For more info pls contact us, (406) 207-4027 (or 4028), ask for Chris or Adriane.
