The next MGO Missoula meet up will be Saturday July 14 at 2:00. There has been some complaints about parking downtown where we held the first two so I was putting the location out for opinions and ideas.
Well, bars are right out, I imagine. My suggestions include:
1. Denny's - They have a huge parking lot and serve coffee. What else do you need?
2. Finnegan's - Smaller parking lot, smaller tables, but closer to campus and they still have coffee.
3. Any park in Missoula - Sunshine, plenty of open space, beautiful surroundings. No coffee, though, and it's really hot out there. Also small chance the event could get rained out.

Oh no! I just realized it would be /Saturday/ at 2 pm! Damnation, I've got work until 5. How long do these things generally run? Also, any news on where it'll be taking place?
Sadly, I'm forced to agree with thewylddream. I don't believe that my supervisors would be too pleased, seeing as it's not open to the public.
As far as locations go, I gave my suggestions earlier. However, seeing as I work very close to Perkins, I'll second that recommendation based on convenience (if you guys will still be there at 5 PM).

Perkins at 5 on my birthday eh? *shrugs* i could do that...especially I found out a while back that I will in fact be staying in Missoula this weekend...now karma's gonna turn around and make it so we'll be away for the weekend >_< Anyone want a cookie?
update: 10 people made it. Food and amusing conversation were had by all. Next meeting is when? Look to the left, below thewylddream. See all those medals? I am an Internets general!
If it happens to work out near the weekend of August the 18th-19th (or Friday, the 17th evening), I'll be in town and stop in. If not, oh well, maybe next time. ]
The next scheduling item for Missoula I am aware of is the Sept 8th game day at the U.
My tentative thinking is to do the September meeting on the following Saturday (9/15). That'd make 8/18 a good fit, but will leave it open to input for a few weeks until something is a little more solid.
A note on time and venue - Perkins didn't offer the best atmosphere for such an event. Additionally it was quite aways from campus/downtown for some of the auto impaired folks. Next one will be closer to downton most likely.
Timewise the 5:00, in addition to being changed at a late date, pushed several people up against their game starting times. Anyone have any feedback as to what time they would prefer?
