The 50 States Initiative creates a super team in each state. Now it’s Montana’s turn. Are you one of Montana’s Mightiest Heroes?

Come play the Marvel Super Heroes RPG at the Muse, 2100 Stevens in Missoula, the first Sunday of every month.

Next game Sunday, June 3rd, 1PM.

Character creation session Sunday, May 20th, 3:30PM.

(in a burst of inspiration I've decided to switch my monthly game from Paranoia to Marvel Super Heroes.)

hmmm it depends, can i be spidey man?

You see, sometimes when an owl, and a bear love each other very much, and they make a commitment, they do what we in the arcane circles call, the nast-eh! Couple months later a few spells here and there, and hey you got yourself an Owlbear, and dammit they are delicious

Sorry, but no. Spider-Man is currently wanted by the United States government for violating the Super Human Registration Act.

Players will make their own heroes to play.

hmmmmm, well then let me rephraze this. Can i make a hero with super strength, agililty can cling to walls and has grapling hooks, with ropes type things >.> yes i realize i'm trying to rip off spider man :P. Interesting factoid, all of spiderman's powers are physicaly possible.

Yeah, you can make a Spidey clone or as much of one as the dice will allow.

Easily accomplished by buying a few items that aren't even dollar amounts. Afterwards, the remainder will be a few Spidey Cents.

Spidey sense is one of the easier ones to prove. Some spiders can sense the vibrations in the air. In the first spider man movie this is visualised by time seemingly to slow down and peter noticing everything. So yea spidey sense possible.

A game of Marvel sounds great. I will try and make the Character Generation meeting on the 20th.

I walk in the Shadowlands. I walk the grayness between the light and the dark. I am Wolf. I am the guardian.

Just so everyone knows, I'll be using the old Marvel Super Heroes game put out by TSR in the late '80's. Which, by the way, was the second RPG I ever owned.

Sorry, for some reason both links ended up with an "L" added in, I must have missed them when I was editing the code. They are fixed and here is a 3rd for your amusement.

I'm Batman 2

A couple of things to note for those of you who are planning on attending the character creation session this Sunday at 3:30PM at the Muse.

Marvel is a percentile system, so bring at least two D10s, one of which is a different color if you don't have those percentile D10s.

At least 1/3 of character creation is random roll. Come with a character concept, if you wish, but be prepared for it not coming out exactly as you dreamed it. Have an idea of what kind of powers you want, but don't be dead set on certain specifics.

Also, PM ASAP me if you wish to play a character who weilds magic.

One last thing, at the time this game takes place, Mutants are rare so I am only allowing one Mutant origin for every six players.

That's it. See you on Sunday.

Just a note, I have about half a pound of dice and plenty of dice so i can loan percentile dice to those that don't have em, and have a few D10's i can share too, if needed. And coolness i was just abot to send a post asking if their was a way to generate a random super hero. Since as we all know not all super heros are created equal.

Oh yeah. If you so choose, you can make a completely random character. That's how Enigma Boy was born. Gods, I wish i can find that character sheet. He had at least three dissimilar powers one of which was being able to shoot webs.

Quick question for the GM, does the Gm have any problem with the lee playing a female super hero. >.> The lee asks since the lee amost allways plays female characters in games.

W00t, Now all i have to do is figure out a way to make it to the first game. Making it to the character creation session is no problem, but i have to be in Missoula the day before and if i'm not living up there yet i'm not sure i'll be able to afford showing up 2 days in a row.

Just a bump to remind people about the character creation session on Sunday at The Muse on Stevens. I'll be there at 3:30, maybe a little earlier.

Don't forget pencils and dice.
